| This page represents a small sampling of my work before moving to Paris in 2006. It was during this period that I began to sense the essence of the still life objects that I was painting and I wanted to capture that instead of just depicting a realistic version. I didn't know it but I was on the verge of leaving the objects behind entirely. |
| In the spring of 2006 I went to Carmel, CA for a workshop. It was while I was there that I gave myself permission to leave objects behind and paint in the ABSTRACT. |
